Summer Chaos: A Pastor Maude mystery by Delida MCcann

Pardon our dust this page is under construction.
Picture
Pastor Maude looks forward to a summer of weddings, her own included. Her summer begins as expected with her niece's wedding. After the wedding, a call from the police, in the middle of the night, brings Maudy out to the scene where the body of a young woman has washed up across the lake from her house.

The list of suspects starts growing before Maudy makes it home to her own bed. Accusations fly through the community of Blackfish for weeks. The rumors include the names of her own son and soon-to-be stepson. When her daughters and their friends visit the lake house, their safety becomes an issue.

Is being wary enough to stop a serial killer, or is there something more Maudy needs to know? What is John Wesley trying to tell her?
